South Korea’s national archery team, including Im Si-hyeon, Nam Su-hyeon, Jeon Hun-young, and coach Yang Chang-hoon, hold up the Taegeukgi after winning the gold medal in the final match against China in the women’s team archery event at the 2024 Paris Olympics held at the special event venue Les Invalides in Paris, France on the 29th (Korean time).

first picked up an arrow in the third grade of elementary school, set a goal of becoming a member of the Korean national archery team and an Olympic gold medalist while going through middle and high school. Nam, who started living in a dormitory of her own volition to achieve her dream, did basic physical training at 6 a.m. every day and held an arrow until late at night after school. If the daily practice amount for a high school girls’ archery team is 200-400 shots, Nam’s exercise amount was considerable, shooting at least 500 to a maximum of 700 shots.
