A grand opening celebration is planned for January 2022. Puerto Rico Gov. Pedro Piercy, Carolina Mayor Jose Carlos Afonte Dalmau, tribal council members, Foxwoods chairman and CEO, community dignitaries and community members all gathered for a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. on Nov. 17. Foxwoods El San Juan Casino has since welcomed thousands of guests ready to experience hundreds of state-of-the-art slot machines, top-of-the-line table games, and first-class services that complement the resort’s well-designated luxury accommodation and amenities.
