Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City celebrates its 40th anniversary this weekend, marking 40 years of achievements and milestones. Loved for generations in three-state locations, this premier Bayside resort destination has evolved to meet the ever-changing demand for new experiences and reach new customers. Over the years, Hara Resort has hosted hundreds of signature events, welcomed guests, and welcomed countless celebrities and many notable guests, making it a must-see hotel and casino in Atlantic City. In addition, this popular destination offers award-winning restaurants with a wide range of accommodation options that showcase stunning bay views, including the newly renovated Laguna and Costal Towers.
Following the resort’s recent hotel renovation, the newly formed Caesars Entertainment recently announced a total capital investment of $400 million over the next three years and a commitment to improve the Atlantic City resorts Caesars, Tropicana and Hara resorts.
Last month, the Harass resort attracted attention by being named one of 10 casinos outside Las Vegas in a USA Today Top 10 Best Leaders poll. Caesars Rewards has also strengthened into Atlantic City’s loosest slot holding property, delivering the highest total slot recovery rate in beachside game town for the seventh year in a row, earning it the top honor as the nation’s top player club for the third year in a row. With three top resorts on the market and the largest employer in Atlantic County, Atlantic City is critical to Caesars Entertainment’s success,” said Steve Callender, regional president of Caesars Entertainment. “Under the newly formed Caesars Entertainment, we have more than 60 million Caesars Rewards customers, many of whom live within driving distance of our properties. Having spent my entire career in the city, I am especially grateful for the landmark 40th anniversary of the Harrus Resort, the gaming industry and Atlantic City. 2020 presented us with a different challenge than anything we’ve endured in the last 40 years. We are very grateful and proud of the Harrus, Tropicana and Caesars teams who continue to provide the best service to our guests while putting health and safety at the forefront of our experience.”
“For nearly half a century, Harrah’s Resort has been dedicated to Atlantic City and has led the way in positioning the city as a major East Coast gaming and entertainment destination,” explained Ron Baumann, senior vice president and general manager of Caesars & Harrah’s Resort. “But the most important thing is our commitment to helping the community serve in a good place where we can work and play. Through all the ebb and flow this market has seen, including the unprecedented times we live in now, Harrah’s has continued to thrive over the past 40 years, and we attribute much of our success to our first employees and our loyal customers, who serve our guests the best every day. While this year’s celebration may look a little different, we are incredibly proud of our team members and appreciate the loyalty of our customers.”
