Half of the 6,022 square feet expansion will provide additional gaming space on street level, and the other half will be increasing the “back of house” area. After completion, Womacks’ number of gaming positions will increase by approximately 10% (from the present 600 gaming positions to an estimated 660 gaming positions). Including additional slot machines, the expansion will cost approximately $2.5 million dollars.
To minimize business interruption, the expansion will be done in two phases. It is expected that the first phase will be completed by early July and the second phase before Christmas of this year.
