Woo-seok Ko threw a no-hitter.

Woo-seok Ko, who plays for the Miami Marlins’ Triple-A Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, threw a no-hitter.

Using a fastball that topped out at 153 mph, he threw a one-hit shutout with one strikeout and one walk in the ninth inning of a home game against the Triple-A Nashville Sounds of the Milwaukee Brewers at 121 Financial Ballpark in Jacksonville, Florida, on Monday.

Taking the mound in the ninth inning, trailing 3-4, Gausman got the first batter he faced, Yoenis Hernandez, to ground out to third base and then induced Francisco Mejia to fly out to center. With the bases loaded, Go gave up a single to Chavez Young. He then induced Freddy Zamora to fly out to center field to end the game.

The team lost the game 3-4, 안전놀이터 but Ko’s performance was a good thing. The right-hander, who was acquired from the San Diego Padres on May 5, has made four appearances in Triple-A, posting a 1.80 ERA in one start.

Since joining LG in 2017 after graduating from Chung-Am High School, Go has appeared in 354 games in the first team until last year, posting a 19-26 record with a 3.18 ERA in 139 appearances. He topped the league with 42 saves in 2022 and helped LG win the league title last year with a 3-8 record and a 3.68 ERA in 15 appearances.
