South Korean wrestling suffered an embarrassing first round exit on the first day of the World Championships .The team failed to win medals in the men’s freestyle 61kg, 70kg, 86kg and 125kg on the first day of the 2023 World Wrestling Federation (UWW) World Championships at the Kombank Arena in Belgrade, Serbia on Sunday (Feb. 17).Song Hyun-sik (Jeju Provincial Office), who competed in the men’s freestyle 61 kg, lost 2-5 to Ntigam Balizada (Azerbaijan) in the first round, while Jung Yong-seok (Guro-gu Office) lost 1-4 to Serbet Joskun (Turkiye) in the first round of the freestyle 70 kg.
