BASEBALL SSG PROVIDES 125 LOW-INCOME CHILDREN WITH EYE EXAM AND GLASSES

Professional baseball team SSG Rangers, together with Pratt Opticians, will support eye exams and glasses for 125 low-income children. On the 21st, SSG said, “Yesterday, we held a donation ceremony for the ‘Hope EYE Campaign’ at Pratt Opticians’ E-Mart Training Center .”The ‘Hope EYE Campaign’ is a social contribution program that supports eye exams and glasses for one low-income child in the Incheon area for every regular season home run hit by SSG players.

In the 2023 season, the SSG players hit 125 home runs, allowing them to support 125 children selected by the Social Welfare Foundation and Sewha Welfare Center. SSG infielder Choi Joo-hwan, who participated in the donation ceremony, said, “It’s rewarding to know that my home runs can help neighbors in need.” He added, “I’ve heard that some children from low-income families don’t receive proper eye exams and don’t even realize that they need correction. 토토 I hope this campaign will help children in need see a brighter world.”
