Rose is calling it quits.
Derrick Rose has decided to retire from the NBA, according to Chris Haynes, a local reporter in the United States.
Rose played for the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2023-2024 season. He averaged 8 points and 3.3 assists per game in 24 appearances. Clearly, he was no longer competitive in the NBA. Rose was still under contract with Memphis through the 2024-2025 season. 파워볼실시간 Rose opted out of his 2024-2025 season and decided to retire from the game.

Rose was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the first overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. Rose’s move to Chicago was destiny. Rose was a hometown boy, born and raised in Chicago.
Rose became an incredible player in Chicago. From his rookie season, he was the best player in the game, winning Rookie of the Year and MVP in his third year. Rose’s performance helped Chicago, a franchise that had fallen into the dark ages, revitalize for the first time since the Michael Jordan era.
But injuries would steal the show. Rose suffered a knee injury in the first round of the 2011-2012 playoffs against the Philadelphia 76ers. It was an anterior cruciate ligament tear, a devastating injury to his athleticism. Rose was an athletic guard with a fiery step and dribble that made him a force to be reckoned with. It was clear that this injury would derail his career.
After taking a year off, Rose returned to the court for the 2013-2014 season, but once again, the injury slowed him down. After 10 games, she tore the medial meniscus in her right knee, ending her season again.
After that, Rose continued to suffer injuries, both big and small. Even when he was on the court, he was no longer the dynamic player he was in his prime.
Rose left Chicago and became a “juggernaut”, bouncing from team to team, including the New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves. Finally, he announced his retirement.
Unfortunately, his last NBA jersey wasn’t in Chicago. He was the most iconic Chicago player since Jordan. Of course, he’ll be honored with a retirement ceremony in Chicago, but it’s a shame.
We wish Rose the best of luck in his post-playing career.
