Mohamed Salah (32, Liverpool) has recommended the Egyptian striker to Tottenham.
Egyptian international Mido, 41, took to social media on Monday (Jan. 21) to give his hometown club Tottenham a strong recommendation for the striker.
“I advised Tottenham to sign Salah a few years ago, he was in Basel (Switzerland) at the time, but they didn’t listen to me,” Mido claimed.
Salah, who made his debut in the Egyptian Premier League in 2010, joined Basel in June 2012, where Park Joo-ho (retired) was playing at the time. He moved to Chelsea in January 2014, then Fiorentina (loan) in February 2015 and AS Roma (loan and then transfer) before joining Liverpool in the summer of 2017.
Salah is a three-time Premier League top scorer. 스포츠토토 According to Mido, if Tottenham had signed Salah, he could have led Spurs to the title alongside Harry Kane (31, Bayern Munich).
Mido then recommended Omar Marmusi (25, Eintracht Frankfurt): “Now I say take Marmusi. He would be a great signing as a left or right winger who would fit perfectly into Angie Postecoglou’s system.”
Marmusi can play on both wings as well as up front.
He has 16 goals and six assists in 37 appearances this season, including 11 goals and six assists in 25 league games. He’s under contract until June 2027, so it’s likely that Spurs will have to pay a hefty transfer fee.
If he were to wear a Tottenham shirt, he could be a significant addition to a Spurs side in need of a frontline striker. However, he would face competition from Son Heung-min on the left side of the field, so it’s unlikely he’ll be able to jump straight into the starting lineup.
“He is a top professional who works hard and can score goals,” he said of Marmusi, adding, “Please, Daniel Levy, sign Marmusi from Frankfurt,” referring to Levy’s direct involvement in player signings.
Meanwhile, Egyptian international Mido is a Tottenham teammate of Lee Young-pyo. Mido, who grew up in the Zamalek (Egypt) youth ranks, played for clubs such as KAA Gent, Ajax, Celta Vigo, Marseille, AS Roma, Tottenham, and Middlesbrough, 온라인카지노사이트 where Hong Hyun-Seok also plays.
