Simultaneously celebrate community engagement.

On Oct. 17, more than 6,000 team members will participate in “Reverse Service Day 2023” at reverse casino locations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Des Plaines, Illinois (Chicago area); Shenectady, New York; and Portsmouth, Virginia

The combined plan is the first example of the company’s long-localized “River Gives” program. Through River Gives, each reverse casino contributes approximately 2,000 hours of volunteer time per property to local nonprofit partners each year. In addition to volunteer work, Rivers Gives includes board service, donation drives, in-kind donations and corporate donations.

Rivers Gives will increasingly focus on three imperatives to improve the quality of life for the local casino community: health and human services, workforce development and economic opportunities, and support for U.S. soldiers and veterans.

In a concerted effort designed to appreciate and enhance the cities that Rivers Casino calls home, this week’s typical Tuesday workday will begin differently. Team members of each property will report to local health and welfare nonprofits instead of game venues through voluntary subscription.

These casino volunteers will devote their time and energy to tasks ranging from dropping toys in local children’s hospitals to grounding and cleaning in local health centers and assembling care packages for cancer patients.

“Reverse Casino is committed to the health, well-being and economic vitality of the communities we operate in and is committed to those who have served the country,” said Tim Drekkov, CEO of Rivers Casino and Rush Street Gaming. “By focusing our efforts on these key areas, we expect to continue our different community engagement initiatives throughout the year while increasing our impact.”

Rivers Casino and Rush Street Gaming contribute approximately $14 million annually to local non-profit partners and various community groups across the operating market.

Rivers Casino Pitts Partners With Mario Lemieux Foundation

In Pittsburgh, Rivers Casino will cooperate with Mario Lemieux Foundation to mark ‘Service Day’. The team will visit several Austin playrooms across Allegheny County to deliver toys and items that are beneficial to children in families facing health problems.

Austin’s playroom is part of the Mario Lemieux Foundation’s ongoing initiative to provide a fun and attractive environment for children while they are committed to health and recovery. There are currently 43 Austin playrooms throughout western Pennsylvania.

Throughout the day on Oct. 17, team members at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh participate in various activities. The glimmer of hope will be on site to provide information on breast cancer screening. Casinos will partner with Vitalant to host blood drives. There will also be free biopsies on the Allegheny Health Network.

In addition to in-kind donations from team members, Rivers Casino will make a $6,600 financial contribution to the Mario Lemieux Foundation. The money is in honor of the hockey legend’s uniform number.

Casino guests will also be able to join the donation thanks to the River Gives Collection box, which will feature prominently on the gaming floor. River will deliver chips, uncashed slot vouchers and everything the currency is offered to the Mario Remieux Foundation.바카라사이트
