He said he was surprised to see Fury face to face

Ngannou appeared on the podcast “Club Shay” on Wednesday and talked about his confrontation with Fury. “Fury’s punch was very good. It was different from MMA players’ punch,” Ngannou said. “MMA players’ punch is not as strong as professional boxers. They (professional boxers) have amazing punch speed. I enjoyed a good shot (Fury’s punch).”

He also talked about how he felt when he was punched by Ngannou. “You might not know this well, but it was dizzying. But I realized it was a good punch,” he said. “I also felt good when I was punched. It means that I am still awake,” explaining once again that Fury’s punch power is great.

Ngannou lost by decision in a 10th round professional boxing match against Fury at Riyadh Hall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Oct. 28. He performed well by stealing a down in the third round, but lost to 1-2 in the referee’s decision. However, he was recognized for his potential as he displayed level performance in his debut match in professional boxing. After the match, he ranked 10th in the world rankings of the WBC.

When it comes to punches that brought Fury down, he humbled himself. He knocked Fury down, but admitted himself that he didn’t hit the punch with great force. “It was really nothing. It wasn’t a strong punch. That’s why I knew Fury was going to happen,” he said, adding, “I felt my punch touch my shoulder first before it hit his temples.”

Meanwhile, Fury, who played against Ngannou, will have an integrated title match with Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine, the WBA, WBO, and IBF champion, on Feb. 18 next year. If he beats Usyk to become the unified champion, he will likely weigh in on a rematch with Ngannou. Ngannou is drawing attention again by announcing his plan to compete in professional boxing after returning to the MMA stage. 먹튀검증
