The WKBL (Korea Women’s Basketball Federation) confirmed 20 people eligible for the 2024 WKBL FA on the 3rd (Wednesday).

The FA negotiation period, which has been reduced from 30 days to 20 days from this year, will be divided into three rounds. The first round of negotiations will be held from Friday 5th to Sunday 14th at 17:00, the day after the award ceremony ends, and the second round will be held from Monday 15th to Friday 19th at 17:00. Players who fail to sign contracts for the first and second rounds of negotiations will engage in the third round of negotiations with their original teams from Saturday 20th to Monday 22nd at 17:00.

If a person eligible for FA moves to another club, the original club may choose one compensating player (excluding a protected player) or cash compensation in accordance with WKBL FA regulations. The scope of protected players and cash compensation depends on the contribution of the FA target in the current year and the previous year.
